The website NETCoDems.com is maintained by administrators under the supervision of the Executive Committee (referred to in this policy as “we”, “our”, or “us”) of the Northeast Travis County Democrats (NETCo Dems).

NETCo Dems is a membership political action committee registered in the State of Texas. The website administrators are NETCo Dems members.

Note: Subscribing to the discussion group “Forum” on this website does not provide membership in the NETCo Dems club or subscription to other groups owned by NETCo Dems, including the closed discussion group on Facebook and the email notification group on groups.io.

You do not have to be a NETCo Dems club member to subscribe to the Forum, but we encourage you to become a member.

If you are not a NETCo Dems member, we may use information you provide to invite you to become a member.

 

SECTION I: INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect no information about people who only visit and read the website.

Our website is generally intended for persons of voting age, but it may be of interest to persons younger than that. We recommend that persons under voting age use the site under supervision of responsible persons of voting age. If you are under 13 years old, please do not provide any information on this website. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13 years.

We collect the name and email address provided by persons who administer the website. The site application collects associated passwords and a history of actions taken by those persons. We cannot access the stored passwords. We use the information to manage access accounts of those individuals and control the configuration of the website. We do not share their information.

We collect the name and email address provided by persons authorized to post in the NETCo Dems News blog. The blog application collects associated passwords and we cannot access them. We use the information to manage access accounts of those individuals. The names of people who post on the blog are public; otherwise, we do not share their information.

We collect the name, email address, and, if offered, the telephone number and physical address along with information provided in the subject and message fields provided by persons completing the Contact us form. We use this information to reply to those persons and may use it to contact them about other activities of the Northeast Travis County Democrats. We do not share the information with others.

We collect the name, email address, voting county name, and voting precinct number provided by persons applying to subscribe to the website’s discussion group Forum. The forum application collects associated passwords and we cannot access them. We use this information to assess the application, manage subscriber accounts, and correspond with subscribers. We may use this information to contact them about other activities of Northeast Travis County Democrats. We do not share the information with others.

We use the ActBlue platform to manage and collect NETCo Dem membership dues, operate the NETCo Dems merchandize store, and accept donations to NETCo Dems. Links to these tasks are represented on the netcodem.com website and executed on the ActBlue platform.

The ActBlue platform may collect your personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

Information you provide in our ‘Contact us’ form on this website is transmitted by the Wix.com platform to the NETCo Dems Executive Committee’s closed discussion group on groups.io using Google Mail account. Google Calendar. NETCo Dems calendar on this website is hosted on the Google Calendar platform. As on any Google Calendar, personal information of persons authorized to post information on this calendar and those who subscribe to the calendar on may be collected, processed, and stored by Google.

YouTube. NETCo Dems Meetings videos are hosted on the YouTube channel NETCo Dems Videos. One or more of these videos may be embedded in this website. Groups.io documents state that it does not use User Content for any purpose other than to provide, operate, and improve or enhance their services.
