28 candidates for the upcoming elections* spoke at our meeting and. joined in holiday celebrations and optimism for the new year. *Elections: Democratic Party Primary, March 1st (early voting starting Feb 14th) , and the Special Election to fill the vacancy on the Austin City Council for District 4, January 25th (early voting starting January 19th).

We look forward to meeting with you at the NETCo Dems Holiday Party and Meeting, this Saturday, December 18th, but for your safety and ours, please review and heed the following COVID-19 situation and precautions.
• Austin and Travis County are forecast, at best, to remain at COVID-19 Community Risk Stage 3. Please refer to the attached graphic for general personal precautions.
• At least three people in Travis County are infected by the omicron variant, indicating other people are likely infected and sharing within the community.
• Travis County issued new emergency health authority rules and order yesterday, December 14, 2021*.
Accordingly, we have set the following COVID-19 precautions for the meeting this Saturday: 1. Please attend the meeting ONLY if you have completed your recommended series of COVID-19 vaccinations.
2. If you feel ill, stay home and take care of yourself.
3. Wear an appropriate COVID-19 face mask at all times while indoors except while actively eating or drinking. 4. Wash or sanitize your hands frequently and maintain three-feet social distancing whenever feasible. 5. We will do the same and additionally will sanitize microphones between users.
